Repair Cafe In May 2022 we launched a Repair Cafe. Hosted in the church and run by a church-baased management group, this is staffed by vlunteer repairers from the community. Wave of Hope 2021

	Hadfield Methodist Church's Youth Station youth club joined in the Wave of Hope, part of the Crack the Crises campaign. Watch the film about the campaign here.

Nativity Trail 2020

In association with the other churches in Hadield (Carmel, St. Andrew's and St. Charles') we hosted a nativity trail in the high street in December 2020. Trail booklets with stickers were made, and shops in the high street displayed pictures corresponding to the stickets. Pictures designed by children from local schools (Padfield Primary, St. Andrew's Junior and St. Charles' Primary) were used for the sticker book and shop displays, and several others were also on display in the window of Hadfield Methodist church. Covid-19 Key Workers 2020 In July 2020 we created a window display to highlight and thank our local key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic (cick on image belw for larger photo - opens in new page).

Photo and Story Sharing @ Hadfield Methodist Church 2019

Sunday School Anniversary Photo and Story Sharing Event We organized an event for the Sunday School Anniversary 2019 with photos and stories from past youth-related activities. These included: Sunday School outings and walks Youth Group Events either more recent or further into the past Walking with the band at the Sunday School Anniversary Friday Club Youth Cell Group activities. 100 Days of Prayer for Peace, Hope & Reconciliation 2018

Sunday 4 August 1918 was observed as a National Day of Prayer, called by King George V. One hundred days later the war ended. Praying for peace from 4 August to 11 November, 2018: We displayed 100 prayers in our Church window. Anybady was able to join in by writing a prayer on a butterfly template and putting it up when they visited. On 4th November there was a specail Peace Service in the afternoon starting at 6:15pm. Advent Window

Advent 2016

Throughtout Advent we featured an Advent window at church - every day a new window was opened, featuring paintings by local infant schools, our Toddler group and the Rainbow Brownies.

Cry for Creation 2016

At Hadfield Methodist Church we hosted a display of art work on the theme "Cry for Creation" as part of the Speak Up Campaign Week of Action against climate change in October 2016. Drawings, paintings and collages were displayed in our Church Window. In addition we created an online photo gallery that featured photos of the local area (and a bit farther afield). Passion Play 2011

Outdoor Performance On Saturday 23rd April 2011, we organised a Passion Play that took place in the streets of the village. The play started at St Charles Roman Catholic Church and stopped at various locations in Hadfield finishing at St Andrew's Church. The cast included yoing people from the (then running) Cell Group, as well as people from the congregation. Some of the photos from the event appear below.
